It's time for our annual family trip to the Pumpkin Patch or as Chase likes to say "Punkin Patch."
The weather was unusually warm this year. I have never worn capri pants and flip flops to the pumpkin patch. I was sad that I could not dress Bella up in her pumpkin long sleeve shirt but that would have been brutal for her.
Here we are in our summer attire ready for a fall experience.
Chase started out on the swings with my dad pushing him.
Isabella was just....everywhere! The wide open spaces of the farm caused her main interest to be in just walking all over the place.
She loved the pumpkins. She thought they looked like fun orange balls.
It is hard to tell in this picture but Jeremy is holding a bunny for the kids to pet.
Isabella has a thing for animals. She is visiting with the pigs here.
She petted every animal that she could. I was a little nervous about it but she knew no fear.
Chase and I rode this slide together. I was missing my jeans and tennis shoes on this one.
This is Chase's new pose for pictures which is way better than the previous pose he did with Captain America.
This pose from Chase could use some work but I was keeping him from playing in the corn crib so I can't really blame him.
This was my first time in the corn and I can't believe I have been missing out all these years.
Isabella wore Jeremy and I out as we took turns letting her walk everywhere. Yet, she seemed to wear herself out even more. By the time, we gave her a cookie, this is how she looked...
Poor girl was saying "cheese" and trying to smile while eating her mouthful of cookie.
It was nap time, after all.
The cookie must have rejuvenated her because she was up and ready to join Chase on this big bouncy thing except she could not bounce with the big kids.
Jeremy and I joined both kids on this. Neither of us jumped but with all
these other kids jumping around us, we bounced quite a bit.
It was only a matter of time before Chase found a few of these to drum on.
I don't get out much these days but I have seen many blogs and magazines about spray painting pumpkins white. I will be honest and very uncool by sharing that I thought spray painting a pumpkin white was unnatural.
Well, look what my children found for me to see.
The sign behind Bella says that they are called Polar Bear pumpkins. Interesting.

This is my baby after a day of sweating, running, falling face first into mud, a messy cookie, and playing in the corn. Bella and her shirt have seen better days but I doubt she has ever had so much fun.
